Long-read amplicon sequencing of the full-length 16S rRNA gene

In this study we develop and evaluate a method for sequencing the full-length 16S rRNA gene with single-nucleotide resolution. We performed PacBio CCS sequencing of the full-length 16S rRNA gene in technically replicated human fecal samples in order to characterize the precision and replicability of our methodology.
