资源简介:
This study is based on primary survey data collected from [Ernakulam district, Kerala, India] during the year 2024. A structured questionnaire was administered t The dataset includes detailed information on respondents’ socio-demographic characteristics (age, education, marital status, household income), labour market participation (employment status, occupation, hours worked), and household responsibilities (time spent on domestic chores and caregiving). Importantly, the survey also incorporated attitudinal questions to capture gender role attitudes, using a [Likert scale, e.g., 1 = strongly disagree to 5 = strongly agree] on statements related to women’s employment, household roles, and decision-making power. In total, the final dataset consists of 273 observations after data cleaning. MThe cross-sectional nature of the dataset limits causal inference, but it provides rich empirical evidence on the interaction between gender role attitudes, education, and labour force participation in Kerala.
