RNAseq from neonatal mouse hindlimb muscles

During neonatal development, skeletal muscle grows dramatically by myonuclei accretion to existing fibers and hypertophic growth of fibers with protein synthesis. To understand molecular mechanism underlying neonatal muscle growth, we used RNAseq to profile the global program of gene expressions especially involved in myoblast fusion, migration, and muscle fiber growth by itself. We used two biological replicates for each time point.

在新生个体发育阶段,骨骼肌可通过两种方式显著生长:一是将肌核(myonuclei)补充至已存在的肌纤维,二是伴随蛋白质合成的肌纤维肥大性生长。为解析新生期骨骼肌生长的潜在分子机制,本研究采用RNA测序(RNAseq)技术,绘制了尤其与成肌细胞融合、细胞迁移及肌纤维自身生长相关的全基因表达程序图谱。本研究为每个实验时间点设置了两个生物学重复。
