KMZ files for Normandy Invasion and Battle of the Bulge

These maps are in KMZ format, for display in a program like Google Earth. There are two zipped files for the Normandy campaign, and one for the Battle of the Bulge. They were digitized from the daily situation maps of the Western Front available at the Library of Congress. They show a single location for each division, and the location of the reported front line. Digitization was done by introductory course GIS students, with some edits by the professor. Two of the data sets appeared in published papers. They have an HTML file which explains the data set, and links to the KMZ files. There may be broken links to files I could not recover.
