资源简介:
Diarrhea in piglets poses a significant threat to swine farming. This study aimed to investigate the impact of breed effects on changes in gut microbiota by conducting 16S rRNA sequencing of fecal samples from different breeds and individual pigs. A total of 163 piglets were selected for this study, including three breeds: Duroc (61 piglets), Large White (63 piglets), and Landrace (39 piglets). All piglets were sourced from a large-scale breeding farm in Fujian, China, where they were raised under identical feeding standards and disease control conditions. The data presented here are derived from 16S rRNA sequencing of fecal samples collected via anal swabs from a subset of 163 piglets at the time of weaning. This subset includes 4 randomly selected Duroc piglets, 2 Large White piglets, and 4 Landrace piglets.
