Experimental Data for Fe(II) Oxidation by O₂ in Sulphuric Acid Media (pH −1.5 to 8.0; 5–65 °C)

This repository contains the experimental datasets supporting the study: A Coupled pH–Temperature Logistic Rate Law for Fe(II) Oxidation by O₂ in Sulphuric Acid Media (pH −1.5 to 8.0; 5 to 65 °C) and Its Implications for Sulphate-Rich Waters The datasets comprise Fe(II) oxidation experiments performed over a wide pH range (−1.5 to 8.0) at five temperatures (5, 25, 40, 50, and 65 °C). The repository includes the original experimental measurements, dilution-corrected datasets, scaled datasets for comparison, and the final kinetic results used for model development and statistical analysis. Repository contents Raw experimental datasets (uncorrected) These files contain the original Fe(II) concentration measurements obtained directly from the experiments before any data processing or dilution correction. Processed kinetic results Results_Kinetics.xlsx – Summary of the calculated kinetic parameters, reaction rates, and fitted model results derived from all experiments. These datasets are provided to enable reproducibility of the analyses presented in the associated publication and may be reused for research and educational purposes with appropriate citation of the associated publication.
