AEPs of daily and subdaily rainfall estimated from Australian regional climate models
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the paper: Pepler, A., Udy, D., Saunders, K. and Jones, D. (2027) Projections of future Australian rainfall extremes across different durations (Submitted to JSHESS) Each netCDF file includes the shape, scale, and location of the GEV distribution estimated at each grid point, as well as the associated values of the 50%, 20%, 10%, 5%, 2% and 1% AEP in mm(pr). Each individual netCDF file has file name format of: GEV_${DURATION}_AGCD-05i_${GCM}_${SSP}_${MEMBER}_${AGENCY}_${RCM}_${BC}_regionalised_${years}.nc, following the convections used for regional climate model output data as part of the Australian CORDEX-CMIP6 project. Duration: RX1H, RX3H, ... RX7D shows the timescale used for annual maxima (e.g. 1 Hour, 7 Days) GCM, MEMBER: Global climate model and ensemble member SSP, YEAR: Global climate scenario and period used for estimating GEV parameters (either historical and 1980-2009 or ssp370 and 2070-2099) AGENCY, RCM: Agency who performed the downscaling, and associated RCM version BC: Either "v1-r1" for raw data regridded to the common AGCD-05i grid, or e.g. v1-r1-ACS-MRNBC-AGCDv1-1960-2022 for data bias adjusted to the AGCD grid using the MRNBC method. For convenience, individual files are bundled into .tar.gz files incorporating all 78 RCMs and both periods for a given duration and method, e.g. Pepler2027_GEV_${DURATION}_AGCD-05i_CORDEX-CMIP6_${BC}.tar.gz, For more information on the datasets used to generate these files please see the page for the appropriate dataset: BARPA (https://dx.doi.org/10.25914/gjzx-kr91) CCAM-ACS (https://dx.doi.org/10.25914/rd73-4m38) QldFCP-2 (https://dx.doi.org/10.25914/2c0z-8t40) NARCliM2.0 (https://dx.doi.org/10.25914/3r9s-pb86).
