VPRS 11954 Register of Cabinet and Cabinet Committee Submissions (Database Output), Cain/Kirner Government

This series comprises of a register of Cabinet and Cabinet Committee submissions. It was established as a database in circa 1987 by Cabinet Office to replace a manual system of registration (see VPRS 11945 Register of Cabinet Submissions and VPRS 11943 Register of Submissions to Cabinet Committees). Submissions from 1982 to 1992 were entered into the database which has since been extracted and converted into an MS Excel spreadsheet. Fields recorded in the database (and featured in the spreadsheet) include: - submission number - Minister/portfolio - date received - title. Please note that there are some discrepancies evident in the data such as incomplete fields or incorrect dates which are most likely a result of human error during the data entry process. Title detail for each submission entry was transcribed by PROV  from this output to form the basis of the item listings for the submissions in VPRS 11944.
