The following map displays the radiation in UV-A reaching the ground in France and surroundings. The quantity displayed is the irradiation for a day averaged over ten years (1993-2002) for the month of August, expressed in kJ/m². This approximate assessment is obtained from observations made by meteorological satellites. Click on map to enlarge.
