This dataset is designed for citrus tree fruit count prediction. Its input features include tree age (in years), tree height (in meters), crown width (in meters), and number of fertilization times, with the output being the total number of fruits. This model addresses the challenge of modeling the relationship between citrus fruit quantity and tree health status. The number of harvested fruits is not only a core assessment indicator for agricultural production, but also a critical metric reflecting regional agricultural production capacity and economic conditions. It is directly linked to farmers' incomes and grain production capabilities, and exerts significant impacts on rural economic development, improvement of residents' living standards, and national agricultural security. Therefore, predicting citrus fruit quantity is not only a pursuit of individual farmers' interests, but also a reflection of national and societal emphasis on agricultural production development. Data on citrus trees were collected through field surveys, and traditional algorithms as well as multiple linear regression algorithms were employed to predict the number of citrus fruits. The input variables of this model are the same as previously mentioned: tree age (in years), tree height (in meters), crown width (in meters), and number of fertilization times. The multiple linear regression algorithm analyzes the linear correlation between these input variables and the citrus fruit count to determine the coefficient of each input variable. The model calculates the predicted citrus fruit quantity based on the input data to generate the final prediction result. Through this process, the model comprehensively considers multiple input variables to achieve accurate prediction of citrus fruit count.
