Epigenetic programming by trithorax supports the translation capacity of Drosophila memory neurons [RNA-seq Set1 & trr]

We have analyzed changes in histone H3 lysine 4 methylation (H3K4me) and gene expression resulting from trx knockdown (KD) in adult mushroom body neurons of Drosophila melanogaster. Examination of gene expression in mushroom body neurons of adult Set1 or trr-KD flies and their genetic background controls. Genetic material was collected from pools of 50-60 fly heads in least 4 replicates per condition.
