Detection of viruses infecting kiwifruit and analysis of virus infection types in Fengxin and Wuning，Jiangxi，China

Objective Kiwifruit is mainly produced in Fengxin and Wuning，two counties in Yichun City and Jiujiang City respectively.Kiwifruit virus diseases are serious in these areas.Studying the occurrence of kiwifriut viruses in Fengxin County and Wuning County can provide references for the detection and prevention of kiwifruit virus diseases. Method In this study，we detected the types of viruses infecting kiwifruit by RT-PCR，and analyzed the combination of mixed virus infection. Result The results showed that 17 viruses were detected in 129 diseased kiwifruit leaf samples，among which Actinidia virusB（AcVB），Actinidia virusA（AcVA），Cucumber mosaic virus（CMV），Apple latent sephical virus（ALSV），Actinidia chlorotic ringspot-associated virus（AcCRaV），and Actinidia virus1（AcV-1）were of the highest detection rate，the detection rate was 50.39%，45.73%，42.64%，39.53%，17.83%，17.83%，14.73%，respectively.Most samples were found to be infected with two or more viruses，the mixed infection rate of diseased kiwifruit leaf samples was 77.52%.Among the samples with mixed virus infection，the most common types of mixed infection combination were CMV+AcVA+AcVB and CLBV+AcCRaV+AcVA+AcVB.The analysis of the virus types in kiwifruit cultivars ‘Jinguo’，‘Jinyan’，‘Hongyang’ and ‘Donghong’ showed that fewer virus types were detected in ‘Donghong’ and the virus detection rate was lower than other cultivars. Conclusion There are as many as 17 types of viruses infecting kiwifruit in Fengxin and Wuning，among which AcVA，AcVB，CMV and CLBV are the dominant ones，however，the virus types in both counties are not entirely identical.The phenomenon of mixed virus infection is prevalent，with various types of mixed infection combinations.The types of detected viruses of different kiwifruit cultivars vary，the virus types of ‘Donghong’ are less than those of other cultivars in the study.
