The present dataset comprises the underlying data used in the research article titled " Connected But Distant: The Phenomenon of Phubbing among Families and Its Effects on Coexistence”. This study aims to explore how phubbing affects emotional connection, communication, and coexistence within Colombian families. Using a qualitative, descriptive approach, it examines parents’ and adolescents’ perceptions of mobile device use in daily family life. The research seeks to identify patterns and strategies that promote balanced digital interaction and healthy family relationships.
