Synchrotron data - Cleverley 6189 (Nov 2012) - Sunrise Dam commercial access

Commercial access for analysis of approximately 6 ore samples. Using the XFM beamline and the Maia detector we propose large area mapping to identify the trace element distribution around and away from the areas of gold enrichment in vein samples from the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. The samples are polished thin sections or thin rock slices on glass slides.The experimental methodology will begin with the full section being mapped for the full energy spectrum at 18.5 KeV using a coarse beam size of 100 micron. The areas of interest identified from this initial map will then be analysed using a smaller beam (2-4 micron).
