Geographic Concentration of Genomic Surveillance for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza A(H5), South Asia, 2015–2025

This archive evaluates the geographic concentration, completeness, host composition, temporal coverage, deposition lag, and sequencing deficit of publicly available H5 genomic surveillance across Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka during 2015–2025. The package contains reproducible Python code, processed outbreak and sequence tables, aggregate GISAID summaries, FAO EMPRES-i and related denominator extracts, technical analyses, figures, data dictionaries, source-attribution notes, and SHA-256 checksums.This record is intended to support reproducibility of the accompanying manuscript and technical appendix.
