Survey on Digitalization and Technology

Statistics Norway (SSB) conducted a survey on digitalization and technology (DOT) among Norwegian enterprises in the autumn of 2020, commissioned by the Institute for Social Research (ISF). The survey, funded by the Research Council of Norway, serves as a data foundation for a larger research project. Together with register data, the survey forms the dataset for the project "Power, Structure and Technology - Opportunities and Challenges for the Labour Market," which focuses on how technology transforms enterprises and workplaces. SSB has previously conducted three similar surveys, in 1997, 2003, and 2012. In this project, researcher Harald Dahle-Olsen is the project leader at ISF. At SSB, the Division for Personal Surveys was responsible for carrying out the survey. Aina Holmøy served as the planner, while Trond Båshus and Anne-Kathrine Jernberg were responsible for programming the electronic questionnaire and preparing the files
