资源简介:
The data by the TPI Global Climate Transition Centre (TPI Centre) evaluate the transition planning of seven oil and gas (O&G) companies and five diversified mining (DM) companies.
During the TPI Centre’s assessment, all metrics are assigned binary (“Yes/No”) scores based on available public disclosure. Indicator and sub-indicator scores are calculated by summing the number of Yes scores (Yes = 1) and dividing them by the total number of metrics in the relevant section. The resulting data is colour-coded to enable investors to visually inspect areas of under- and out-performance.
The TPI Centre’s Net Zero Standards for O&G Assessment Framework (https://researchonline.lse.ac.uk/id/eprint/137908/?template=default) is based on the Net Zero Standard for Oil & Gas, which was originally designed by the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC). The TPI Centre’s Net Zero Standards for DM assessments are based on the Net Zero Standard for Diversified Mining, which was originally designed by the Climate Action 100+ initiative.
This is the archival version of the TPI Centre’s Net Zero Standards assessment dataset from 2025. Starting 2026, this framework has been updated as Net Zero Strategies (NZS), a sector-specific assessment framework designed to evaluate companies' transition plans and decarbonisation strategies across their business segments. For the latest version of the NZS data, please visit: https://www.transitionpathwayinitiative.org/publications?tags=Net+Zero+Strategies.
Established in June 2022, the TPI Centre is an academic research centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) dedicated to producing independent and forward-looking research and data on the progress of corporate and sovereign entities in the transition to a low-carbon economy. Its assessments use publicly disclosed information and its research outputs and datasets are publicly accessible. Through its collaboration with Transition Pathway Initiative, a global investor-led initiative, the TPI Centre ensures its research is not only robust but also decision-useful in real-world scenarios, with insights directly tailored to the needs of the financial sector.
