The statistic illustrates the share of individuals use of different payment methods in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2018. It can be seen that the majority (61 percent) of respondents claimed that they had used a digital wallet as a payment method in the past month. This was followed by 57 percent of respondents who stated that they had used a debit card in a payment transaction in the previous month, whilst only four percent of respondents reported that they had used biometrics during a payment transaction in 2018.
