Stormwater Projects

This feature class tracks the location and status of stormwater infrastructure projects across MWRD service area in Cook County. It serves as a record of MWRD's investment in flood control and stormwater management. Projects includes Regional Flood Control (Phase I) projects, Local Stormwater Partnership (Phase II) projects, Green Infrastructure projects, and Voluntary Flood Prone Property Acquisition (FPPA). The dataset also contains structures and volumetric benefit information. Project data are updated quarterly or on an as-need basis. Attributes related to political units are updated annually using latest data retrieved from county, state and federal sources.
