Whose Cloud Is Your Country On? Measurement code, data, and results

Code, data and results of the paper "Whose Cloud Is Your Country On? Single-Provider Dependencies of Romanian Critical Services" (25th RoEduNet Conference, IEEE, 2026). For 192 public-facing Romanian services in ten sector groups derived from the NIS2 annexes, the study observed which organisations operate the authoritative DNS, the web edge, the hosting network, the configured mail exchangers and the certificate issuer, from a residential vantage in Bucharest and a cloud vantage on 7 September 2026, with a serial mail re-query on 17 September 2026. The record holds the measurement and analysis code, the attribution rules with their service-specific entries, the service frame, the raw DNS, certificate and web records, the per-service and aggregate tables, the facts file with every number the paper uses, the consistency checks, and the code that draws the figures; from the archived records, the code regenerates every table and figure. Every record was collected from public DNS, certificate and web answers, with IP-to-AS annotations from Team Cymru's free IP-to-ASN mapping service. Personal data was removed before archiving: the vantage's own address and reverse-DNS name, and the study's contact address in the measurement user agent. The code is under the Apache License 2.0; the data, tables and texts are under CC BY 4.0.
