<p>This survey was sponsored by The Washington Post and conducted by the ICR Survey Research Group. A National sample of 962 adults over the age of 60 were interviewed from January23- Feburary 12, 1991. Major topics covered: volunteerism; hours spent volunteering; sponsored volunteer opportunities; reasons for volunteering.</p>
