In this study, we investigated microbial diversity patterns and CH4 flux dynamics in glacier-fed lakes (GFLs) and non-glacier-fed lakes (NGFLs) on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau during the peak ablation stage. By integrating the high-throughput 16S rRNA gene sequencing, environmental factor analysis, and statistical modeling, we assessed relationships between microbial community compositions, environment gradients, and CH4 emissions in these lakes.
