This paper takes severely polluted black-odor water (worse than Grade V) as the research subject and reports the use of four treatments: aeration, microbial inoculum + aeration, biostimulant + aeration, and microbial inoculum + biostimulant + aeration. One aspect of the research was carrying out the methods to study the purification efficiency of black-odor water by microorganisms under the different treatments, while the aspect was using high-throughput sequencing to study the composition of and differences in the microbial community structure under different treatments to analyze the relationship between the change in microbial community structure and the purification efficiency of black-odor water and to provide a theoretical and experimental basis for the further efficient treatment of black-odor water.
