This dataset contains information on boundaries and peaks used to analyze the geometric uncertainty of the IRAS Vela Shell. All the datasets share a same set up with Healpix N_side=128, centered at x, y, z = (−67, −334, −65) pc in the Heliocentric Galactic cartesian frame (as mentioned in the paper). For the fiducial model (derived from the mean Edenhofer 2024 dust map and Gaussian smoothing kernel 10 pc), see dataset https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/VZMYSL.
