This dataset is a spatially distributed dataset of forest vegetation types at a scale of 1:1,000,000 for Guizhou Province spanning 2013 to 2017. The data is derived from the China Forest Vegetation Survey Project of the Research Institute of Forest Resources Information Techniques, Chinese Academy of Forestry. The project was developed using partial historical vegetation distribution maps, historical forest distribution maps, 2012 TM imagery, 1990s TM imagery, 250,000-scale DEM data, field plot survey data, and other relevant materials, and was processed strictly in compliance with the relevant provisions of the *Specification for Forest Vegetation Classification, Survey and Mapping* (2019). The data is vector data, with attribute fields including province, city, district, county, forest class group, forest class subgroup, forest class, forest order group, forest order subgroup, forest order, forest series group, forest series subgroup, and forest series. It has a scale of 1:1,000,000. This dataset offers data support and services for forest resource surveys, planning and design, and other related applications.
