Whole genome sequencing of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. glycines wild type and its PCD negative mutant M42

Programmed cell death (PCD) was observed in the strain Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. glycines wild type (Xag wt), when grown in inducing conditions, while the Xag M42 mutant strain does not display PCD even when grown under inducing conditions.The whole genome sequence of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. glycines wild type and its PCD negative mutant M42 was performed to understand the role of specefic genes in PCD process.
