Materials Data on Au2O3 by Materials Project

Au2O3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Fdd2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Au3+ is bonded in a rectangular see-saw-like geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of Au–O bond distances ranging from 1.99–2.11 Å. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a water-like geometry to two equivalent Au3+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a trigonal non-coplanar geometry to three equivalent Au3+ atoms.

三氧化二金（Au₂O₃）结晶于正交晶系的Fdd2空间群。其晶体结构为三维骨架结构。三价金离子（Au³+）以矩形跷跷板状配位几何与四个二价氧离子（O²-）成键，Au-O键长分布范围为1.99~2.11埃（Å）。体系中存在两种不等价的二价氧离子位点：在第一种氧位点中，二价氧离子以类水配位几何与两个等价的三价金离子成键；在第二种氧位点中，二价氧离子以三角非共面配位几何与三个等价的三价金离子成键。
