Function and mechanism of DHX58 inhibiting ferroptosis in hepatocytes and liver ischemia-reperfusion injury

The molecular mechanism of ferroptosis and its mediated hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury has received extensive attention. DHX58 is the pattern recognition receptor of intracellular viral RNA. Our study found that DHX58 is mainly expressed in hepatocytes, and liver damage of DHX58 hepatocyte specific knockout mice was significantly increased in the hepatic ischemia reperfusion model. Therefore, this study aims to explore the functional and molecular mechanisms of DHX58 inhibitingferroptosis in hepatocytes and liver ischemia-reperfusion injury, in order to propose new pathogenesis and intervention ideas for liver ischemia-reperfusion injury
