EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND PREVENTION OF SPEECH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY IN CHILDREN
收藏资源简介:
Speech developmental delay (SDD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental problems in early childhood and may significantly affect cognitive, social, and academic outcomes if not identified early. This study aimed to evaluate early diagnostic markers of speech developmental delay and assess preventive interventions among children attending pediatric services. A total of 84 children were examined in pediatric departments and polyclinics of the Fergana Regional Children’s Multidisciplinary Medical Center. Clinical, developmental, and perinatal factors were analyzed, and early speech stimulation measures were implemented. Statistical analysis demonstrated a significant association between delayed speech development and perinatal risk factors, as well as a measurable improvement in speech outcomes following early preventive interventions.
