The article examines project-based technologies as a modern tool for teacher training in the context of the transformation of the educational environment. Particular attention is paid to rethinking traditional approaches to teaching future educators through the lens of the competency-based paradigm and practice-oriented education. The study analyzes the essential characteristics of project-based learning, its didactic potential, and its role in developing professional, communicative, and research competencies of teachers. The paper substantiates the need to integrate project-based technologies into higher education and reveals the methodological conditions for their effective implementation. Examples of practical application in teacher education are also presented. It is concluded that project-based technologies contribute to the development of critical thinking, independence, and creativity in future teachers, ensuring their readiness for innovative professional activity.
