Ovarian and uterine tissues from five female Jining Gray goats were collected at the following time points: after birth (D1), 2-month-old (M2), 4-month-old (M4), and 6-month-old (M6). All samples were applied for rRNA-depleted RNA-seq libraries construction and transcriptome sequencing. We investigated the transcriptomic mechanisms involved in reproductive regulation in the ovary and uterus during sexual maturation. Overall design: We collected uterine and ovarian tissues from female goats at 1 day, 2 months, 4 months, and 6 months after birth, all of which came from the same farm and were raised under the same conditions.
