The goal of this experiment is to develop a model of the servo-hydraulic system. This model will later be used for outer-loop actuator controller development toward more accurate actuator control.
In this experiment, system identifcation is perfomred on the servo-hydraulic system with MR damper specimen. The input to the servo-controller is a BLWN displacement command with a RMS value of 0.254 mm and a frequency range of 0 to 50 Hz.
To consider for the range of expected specimen conditions, variations in MR damper command include:
a. 0.0 Amps in damper
b. 2.5 Amps in damper
