This dataset contains 30-meter spatial resolution ten-day composite fractional vegetation cover (FVC) products over China from 2009 to 2020. Fractional Vegetation Cover (FVC) is defined as the proportion of ground vegetation coverage observed in the zenith direction per unit area. The FVC products include single-band FVC data and quality control files. The valid values of the FVC product data range from 0 to 1000, with a scaling factor of 0.001, and the invalid value is set to -1. In the quality control files, valid vegetation cover pixels are assigned a value of 1, while invalid pixels are marked as 0. This dataset was derived through remote sensing inversion using data from Gaofen-1 Wide Field of View (GF-1 WFV) and Huanjing-1 Charge-Coupled Device (HJ-1 CCD) satellites, based on a dimidiate pixel model parameterized for different vegetation types.
