<p>This is a special file prepared by the Economic Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This file was donated to CISER by Mark Lancelle, Department of Rural Sociology, Cornell, in 1984. The file was received as an SPSS file. It was converted to an SAS system file. The only documentation for this file is the SAS Contents Listing. According to that listing, this file contains county level data for various time periods between 1960 and 1980. The Source Statements indicate that the file contains data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) Personal Income and Employment series. No such variables can be found in the SAS dataset.</p>
