Data is composed of 1) images of spread yeast meiotic pachytene chromosomes immunostained for Zip3, Hop1 and Zip1;. 2) associated signal intensity profiles of traced chromosomes. 3) shorter and longer periodicity signal components of traced chromosomes. 4) the positions of detected shorter and longer periodicity iFFT peaks along traced chromosomes. 5) control signal intensity profiles obtained by simulation.
