Detecting introgression despite phylogenetic uncertainty: the case of the South American siskins

Sequences were produced by following Parchman (2012) protocol for genotyping-by-sequencing using a size-selection window of 500-600 base pairs. Individual libraries were pooled and sequenced on a single-flow lane of Illumina HiSeq 2500 to produce 100 bp single end reads. Data includes 40 individually barcoded specimens of the avian passerine genus Spinus. Data was used to investigate evolutionary relationships and admixture history of closely related, sympatric bird species in the high Andes.
