Consumer willingness to pay premiums for locally grown fresh produce in Canada 2020

As of 2020, only 1.9 percent of Canadian consumers are likely to pay a premium of over 40 percent for locally grown fresh food produce. This survey shows that almost 70 percent of Canadian consumers are willing to pay some premium under 20 percent for locally grown food. Of the respondents, approximately 20 percent are unwilling to pay a premium.
