Volumetric Behaviour Analysis (VBA) of Hong Kong Public Housing Flats - Spatial Component Isometrics - Case 10PHHA4

This data package comprises spatial component isometric and volumetric analysis documentation of a public high-rise building flat in Hong Kong. The research project record designates this flat interior as “Case 10PHHA4”. The spatial component isometrics were developed as part of the Volumetric Behaviour Analysis (VBA) workflow, following a LiDAR scan of the flat interior conducted through a 12-minute walk-through using a Leica-brand BLK2Go 3D environment scanner.

The drawings analyse the apartment interior through spatial components including movable items, loose furniture, fixed furniture, structure, volumetric clumps, occupied volume, and residual unoccupied volume. The data supports the interpretation of housing conditions in super-tall and super-dense housing units, including spatial utilisation, domestic density, and user contents. Access to the data is granted only after a one-year period of restriction to ensure the protection of individuals’ personal information. The data is provided for future research examining housing behaviour in connection to spatial use.
