Monthly watch and jewelry retail sales value index in Great Britain 2016-2023

This statistic shows the monthly trend in the amount spent on watches and jewelry (sales value) in Great Britain from January 2016 to January 2023, as an index of sales per week. Retail sales value had a difficult time in 2020 at the outbreak of COVID-19, with a minimum point measuring at 23.3 index points in May 2020. From April 2021 onwards, however, sales recovered and remained above the 2019 index, reaching a peak of 117.5 in May 2021. In January 2023, sales value index stood at 108.4 points.
