Replika Community Pulse Dataset

This is an early-period descriptive snapshot of Replika's community sentiment, drawn from the AI Companion Picker Community Pulse pipeline. Coverage represents the first months of an ongoing time series (2026-01 to 2026-05, five monthly observations); longitudinal trend claims will be appropriate when 12+ months of data accumulate (≥ Q1 2027). The bundle captures monthly community sentiment scores for Replika aggregated from Reddit (r/replika and 16 broad subreddits), YouTube reviews, and Google Play, classified by Claude Haiku 4.5 with a documented prompt (included in this bundle). Five aspect scores per month: Character Quality, Pricing & Value, Image/Media Generation, Privacy & Safety, Customer Support. Static editor score is in platform_metadata.csv with editor_score_as_of date. Includes a Replika-filtered safety-incidents.csv covering documented platform events 2023-2026 (Italian Garante actions, ERP removal, Kuyda departure, FTC complaint, etc.) plus relevant cross-platform regulatory developments. Replication index: source-records-replika.csv lists every Reddit thread and YouTube video sampled (URLs and IDs only, no text). Combined with the bundled classifier-prompt-v1.1.md, researchers can re-fetch and re-classify to verify outputs.
