Supplementary material: Testing a fisheries management idea in thirty minutes with agentic artificial intelligence

Supplementary material to the article "Testing a fisheries management idea in thirty minutes with agentic artificial intelligence", submitted to the ICES Journal of Marine Science (Food for Thought). The archive holds the full record of one working session on 9 September 2026. In that session an agentic coding assistant took an untested idea for ecosystem-based fisheries management to a running simulation of an adaptive management trial for a Western Baltic toy system. The archive also holds everything needed to regenerate the figures and numbers reported in the article.S1 is the redacted session transcript (Markdown and JSONL). S2 is the git log of the repository in which the simulation was built. S3 is a note written at the time about the conference contribution the session was aimed at. S4 is the simulation code at its pinned commit, with the model description, the annotated reference list and all outputs. S5 is an interactive browser version of the model that runs offline. The archive further contains the scripts for Figs. 1 to 4, the timeline and redaction scripts, the reference audit and their tests. Code is released under the MIT licence and everything else under CC BY 4.0. Third-party text quoted in the transcript remains under its owners' terms.
