This data describes the output of FTT:Power, an evolutionary model of power sector evolution, and E3ME, a macro-econometric model of the wider economy. The Figure2 files describes the share of renewables and solar by world region The Figure3 file describes the evolution of LCOE over time for onshore wind, solar and coal The Figure4 file shows the cheapest option for electricity generation by country before 2030 The Figure5 file has the output of uncertainty quantification, and contains the learning exponents for wind and solar, the lead time and the lifetime for solar, and the 2050 shares of solar and renewables from the FTT:Power model The Figure6a and Figure6b files contain the investments from this expansion of renewables. Figure 6a contains it as a fraction of GDP, and Figure6b contains the values compared to 2019.
