Dendrothrips minowai Genome sequencing and assembly

The stick tea thrips (Dendrothrips minowai) is one of the most serious sucking pests of tea plants (Camellia sinensis) in China, North Korea and Japan. Nymphs and adults of D. minowai both suck the sap from fresh tea leaves, and female adults lay their eggs in tender leaves. Integrating wih PacBio, Hic and Illunima genomic sequencing data, we fininshed a high-quality chromosome-level genome assembly of D. minowai. It will provid a fundamental resouces for studing on the genetics, biology and diversity of thrips.
