Datasets associated with "From intermittent to persistent chill insufficiency in California's specialty crops"

These datasets support analyses and figures presented in the manuscript “From intermittent to persistent chill insufficiency in California’s specialty crops,” submitted to Communications Sustainability. The archive includes GRIDMET-derived chill accumulation time series, CMIP6 historical and SSP585 climate projection datasets, ECMWF seasonal forecast-derived chill products, and crop distribution datasets used for spatial aggregation and visualization.

All datasets were spatially aligned to a common WGS84 latitude–longitude grid and processed for figure generation and climate-risk analyses. Raw meteorological, climate projection, seasonal forecast, and crop distribution datasets were obtained from publicly available sources described in the associated manuscript.

The archive is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the analyses presented in the study.
