Dataset for Tropical Cyclone Rapid Intensification Learning Journey

The Tropical Cyclone Rapid Intensification Learning Journey is a Learning Journey developed for the NOAA Center for Artificial Intelligence Learning Journey Library, and walks users through training traditional and contemporary machine learning statistical models to predict tropical cyclone rapid intensification. This dataset contains all of the variables used to train the models in the learning journey, which were collected from the Tropical Cyclone Precipitation, Infrared, Microwave, and Environmental Dataset (TC PRIMED; Razin et al. 2023a,b, Slocum et al. 2022).
