Interactive map application hosted by the Idaho Department of Water Resources to view Active Water Right PODs and POUs in Idaho. This map represents the Points of Diversion (PODs) and Places of Use (POUs) for active water rights, applications, permits, recommendations, and claims in the State of Idaho. The representations in this map are derived from interpretations of the paper records and may not include all water rights. Discrepancies between the database representation and the permanent document file will be resolved in favor of the actual water right documents in the water right file. Please notify IDWR if you discover inconsistencies between these data sources for any water right record. The Water Right Locator allows users to search a specific process for water right number or owner, find water rights within a range for priority and/or with a specific source, or turn on filters for ground water and surface water rights. The Irrigation Rights Finder returns a subset of places of use (POU) for water rights, permits, and recommendations associated with irrigation for a location of interest. Additionally, an irrigation organization can be selected from the list to find all associated water rights.
