Cybersecurity Risks

The dataset relates to cybersecurity risks, related to the Russian Federation. The indexes are calculated based on the number of cyberattacks, occured on each of the specified dates. Also, some macroeconomic data, substantial for the Russian economy, is provided. The related period is quite limited - December, 2023 - November, 2025. The frequency of the observations is twice per month.Cyberattacks Indexes: RISCA - Standard attacks, weighted by the Gross Regional Product. RIACA - accordingly applies to the abnormal attacks, started from June, 2025. IRICA - represents the difference between total number of cyberattacks on the country as a whole and the sum of attacks on each region on the map*. OICA - the sum of the three previous indexes. CRISCA, CRIACA, CIRICA, COICA - the first differences of the corresponding indexes.Also, the scripts to download the data added. *Due to the policy of the source (https://dashboard.shadowserver.org/), the map doesn't correspond with the local standard. Some limited deterioration of the model might ensue.
