North Stradbroke Island land-based whale watching enrichment project

This project will provide education opportunities for visitors and the local community. It will assist in preserving the environment at vantage points, improve safety along the coastline while maintaining the natural amenity. The project will have benefits for educational research and has economic benefits through tourism. This infrastructure and education project will be a staged project creating whale watching platforms and walks, interpretive signage, installation of whale related art and a skeleton, interpretive collateral or applications are all part of the scope. All components will ensure local amenity is maintained and the environment is protected and be inline with IULA agreements.
