This study aims to explore the preclinical effectiveness of lenvatinib in combination with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 for anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) through utilizing an immunocompetent murine model of orthotopic ATC, and by conducting transcriptomic and immune microenvironmental profiling during treatment to identify mechanisms and markers of response. This study is immediately relevant given the limited effectiveness of current multimodal therapy in ATC, and the desperate need for novel treatment options for this devastatingly aggressive disease.
