The Democracy Fund + UCLA Nationscape Project is a partnership between Democracy Fund Voter Study Group and UCLA Political Scientists Chris Tausanovitch and Lynn Vavreck. Nationscape is a large public opinion survey conducted during a presidential election. The project interviewed roughly 6,250 people each week between July 2019 and January 2021. Respondents come from nearly every U.S. county, congressional district, and mid-sized city. Nationscape respondents were provided by Lucid, a market research platform. Details on representativeness of the samples are provided in the representativeness assessment uploaded here. Data is organized by weekly wave, denoted by folder names nsyyyymmdd. If viewing directly on dataverse, we recommend using the "Tree" view option for clarity.
